  Aperion Care is horrible!!! Do NOT send your loved ones to a Aperion Care facility. Here are just a few reasons why:
  (1) lack of staff in all areas;
  (2) no specialized diets allowed, so if you need to be on a heart healthy diet, a diabetic diet, a bariatric diet, etc. it won't happen and complaints are met with rudeness and basic lack of training and understanding;
  (3) in-house doctors that make medical decisions without consulting the resident, in some instances putting that resident in harm's way by making those decisions;
  (4) the use of a pharmacy that drags it's feet in delivering critically needed medications for days, if not weeks.
  I could go on and on but in general DO NOT send your loved ones to a Aperion Care if you value their life and well-being. These facilities are basically warehouses that Aperion tries to pack as full as possible to make as much money as possible while totally ignoring the basic needs of their residents.
